A Brief Introduction to ON MARK PRODUCTIONS
Mark Baranowski Ryli Morgan
Born in Buffalo, New York, Mark Baranowski began
making music and self-publishing it locally in the
late 1980’s. By the late ‘90’s, he and a long-time
friend started their own record label, Nickel City
Records, through which they released their music on
a much wider scale. By that time, Mark had relocated
to Charlotte, North Carolina, and was just starting
to take an interest in independent filmmaking.
In 2000, Mark wed aspiring model-actress Ryli Morgan
(a pseudonym; Teresa being her actual name), turned
Nickel City Records into On Mark Productions, and
the two began collaborating on their own film & music
productions. Now, over a decade later, the couple’s
creative output is still going strong, and shows no sign
